recognised. That’s why at Center Parcs we have a range of recognition schemes, each
designed to recognise and reward someone who’s gone the extra mile and done something
exceptional.
We also believe that we all need to take time out from work to rest, relax and have
fun - and where better than Center Parcs. As a member of staff, you and your family
can enjoy the facilities available in a number of ways.
Day visitor pass
From day one of joining us, you will be given an allowance of day passes for you to use throughout the year to bring your family and friends to the Village for a great day out.
Holiday discounts
Once a year you can treat yourself to a 50% discounted break in any of our UK Villages. You are also entitled to a 20% discount off any additional breaks, subject to availability. From time to time, Family & Friends offers will give you the chance of a late availability break at a heavily discounted price.
Village discounts
Within every Center Parcs Village, you will find a variety of excellent retail outlets and numerous restaurants and cafes where you will be entitled to up to a 20% discount on your purchases.
Health & beauty
Where else can you work that has its own state-of-the-art health & beauty retreat, Aqua Sana? Use the spa on your own for free or bring in a few friends for a nominal fee and relax in the beautiful and luxurious surroundings for which Center Parcs is justly famous. A 50% discount on health and beauty treatments is available depending on availability.
Shared success
We recognise that the hard work of each one of you helps us to achieve and maintain our success, so we created a profit share scheme to reward that effort. Once you've attained 18 months service you'll be eligible to participate in ‘Shared Success’, which will pay you a percentage of your basic pay for every hour you've worked in the year, subject to achievements of financial targets. There are also separate Management Bonus Schemes for senior managers, which are linked to both Company financial targets and the achievement of personal objectives.
Star performers and employee of the year
This is all about rewarding employees for going beyond what is expected of them. We have annual star performer awards with a cash prize and presentation. Additional awards are made to the employee from this group who is chosen as the "Employee of the Year" for their Village.
Long service awards
Center Parcs staff enjoy their work and we are justifiably proud that so many stay with us for so long. Length of service is recognised by the presentation of special Service Badges to mark each employees 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service; and also by an awards dinner and a presentation of special gifts for employees who have been at Centre Parcs for 10, 15 and 20 years.
Community heroes
We are aware that many of our employees work on a voluntary basis for charitable organisations or local community projects in their spare time. These people are often ‘unsung heroes’ which is why we have a scheme in place that recognises this commitment and their desire to help others. Overall winners, one from each location, are selected by our Employee Council and are announced at an Awards Lunch. Not only do they benefit themselves by receiving 2 weeks paid leave from work to either spend working for their charity/community project, or to maybe just have some well deserved quality time and rest with their family and friends, but their good cause also benefits too by receiving a monetary donation from the Company.
Voluntary benefits
Our Reward team are always on the look out to source new and exciting voluntary benefits to add to our overall reward package. Current voluntary benefits include a Childcare Voucher Scheme designed to help with the costs of child care, a Health Cash Plan Scheme for yourself and your family, and many other specially negotiated discounts with well known companies such as Sealy beds.
In addition to the above there are also the core benefits of:
Holidays
Full time staff receive 30 days inclusive of bank holidays, and entitlement increases
by 1 day at 2, 5 and 10 years service. Part-time staff entitlement is pro-rata to
the amount of hours worked.
Pensions
Center Parcs realise that you may need an ongoing income to fund your plans to enjoy your life on retirement. We want to help you achieve the type of lifestyle you desire for your future, so as part of our benefits package, we offer staff the opportunity to join the Center Parcs Group Pension Plan. Depending on the percentage of your salary that you contribute, Center Parcs will make payments of up to 9% of your contracted salary into the Plan.
If you are contributing at least 3% of your contracted salary you will be entitled to valuable additional benefits subject to your length of membership in the Pension Plan or as you progress through the Company. These benefits are increased Life Insurance and Long Term Sickness cover.
Life Insurance Cover
In order to give peace of mind to yourself and your loved ones, from the moment you join Center Parcs, you will be eligible for our Life Insurance cover. This cover is 2 x your contracted salary. If you decide to join the Center Parcs Group Pension Plan, your cover will increase to 10 x your contracted salary after 5 years membership of the Plan, subject to you contributing at least 3% into the Plan. Some job roles will be entitled to this immediately upon appointment/promotion.
Company sick pay
All contracted staff are eligible to receive Company Sick Pay after one year's service.
The amount is equivalent to 100% of basic pay for up to 28 days in any 12-month
period.
Occupational health
Working in a Village community, you will have access to our Medical Centre where
qualified nurses are on hand to offer occupational health services in order to promote
and maintain good health in the organisation.
