Training and development

Our commitment and development of our people is what makes Center Parcs great; the training you receive could be to develop your skills in your job role or to develop you as a leader.

As a company we are looking at how we deliver our training and how best we can help you learn and develop. A lot of our training is completed in-house; either in your department or through our own trainers. We are also developing online learning programmes, interactive learning events and access to professional qualifications to develop you further. Depending on your job role you may also have further development opportunities under our Professional Training. As a Forest Ranger maybe you will attend a ‘dragonfly & damsonflies’ course, or a cheerleading course for Leisure Assistants. Each job area has a programme of development.

If you want to become involved in learning and development there are lots of ways you can do this. There is a range of ‘added responsibilities’ that we reward annually. As a legal trainer helping us to keep you, your colleagues and our guests safe not only will you be Health & Safety trained maybe you could be doing the training! There are also roles for department trainers, training coordinators, auditors, first aiders and employee council representatives.
